Nella giornata odierna l’azienda americana presenta nuovi processori per sistemi desktop, comaptibili con piattaforme Socket AM3 ma che possono essere utilizzati anche con schede madri Socket AM2+, previo aggiornamento del bios e verifica della compatibilità, grazie all’integrazione di un doppio memory controller. I nuovi processori sono i modelli Phenom II X6 1075T, proposto a 245 dollari di listino ufficiale tasse escluse, Phenom II X4 970 Black Edition, per il quale vengono richiesti 185 dollari USA, e la cpu Athlon II X4 645, modelli che viene proposto a 122 dollari sempre tasse escluse. Per tutte queste CPU ritroviamo architettura ben nota, con la prima che si posiziona a metà strada tra le altre cpu Phenom II X6 attalmente presenti a listino e per le due restanti con marginali incrementi nelle frequenze di clock rispetto alle proposte sino ad ora presenti a listino.
